Shakeology wanted a fun and clever way to participate in the madness and we suggested pitting the Shakeology flavors head to head in a 4-week competition and letting Shakeology's community pick the ultimate winner. Internally, the Shakeology team used the information to craft Vegan versions of the community's favorite flavors, which was combined with the launch of Vegan Vanilla and Vegan Cafe Latte.
The results were immediate and obvious. All of the "Bracketology" posts were the brand's highest performing posts in terms of engagement and click-throughs - the metrics that were most important for this particular brand-awareness campaign.
